Pay: £14.00ph per hour

M8 Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Bellshill. Our client is seeking a Transport Planner to join their business. This role will initially be temporary via M8 Staffing however will transfer to a permanent role directly with the client. Responsibilities: Receiving and processing collection and delivery requests Ensuring the booking-in of collections and deliveries Confirming price and job details with customers in line with agreed policies. Liaising with depot supervisors on the allocation of jobs to runs Building and producing manifests Contributing to developing the operating procedures and systems Contributing to documenting the operating procedures and systems Essential criteria Excellent computer literacy skills Good geographical knowledge Possess excellent communication skills which will allow them to compose and write emails or make telephone calls to communicate complex arrangements in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work to tight deadlines Good organisation skills Desirable: Industry experience Previous experience in s similar role Shifts will be 4 days on 4 days off 0800-20.00
